Prodromal labor 36 weeks 5 days.

I’ve been to L&D more times than I care to mention. The doctor told me I was experiencing prodromal labor last week and it hasn’t let up. 1 cm dilated and I’ve lost my mucus plug and had my bloody show a few days ago and am spotting again today. I woke up at 2am with intense cramps in my stomach and back but sure enough they’ve let off again. Almost 37 weeks does anyone know how long this prodromal labor stuff lasts? It’s exhausting and I feel utterly useless at the moment.
