My boyfriend and I have been talking about losing our virginity to each other but I’m nervous because I don’t know what to expect when we do it...should I be nervous??

Seeing that you’re 14 and that you’re asking, no. A big warning sign that you’re not ready, is having to ask and your age. At 14 are you ready to be responsible over being sexually active? Are you willing to go to the doctor and get informed on how to protect yourself against STDs and pregnancy? To see about getting on birth control? Or if something went wrong, would you be willing to get medical attention without using your age as a defense to avoid getting seen? Are you ready for the possible consequences of having sex? At 14 no. I would wait until you’re at a more mature age to start being sexually active and until you have a better understanding of the potential consequences that can come with sex.

You're a child. You need to focus on 8th or 9th grade instead of sex. You're not mature enough to deal with something like that especially since you have to ask and can't make the decision on your own. I doubt you're seeing a gynecologist and are on birth control and I doubt you both have been tested for STDs. No, you definitely don't need to have sex anytime soon. You need to do your homework and pass your classes in school.

Just if u do loose ur virginity remember that if you guys don’t work out u will most likely tell someone els ur not a virgin. There nothing to be nervous about. Just make sure it’s the right decision for u
