Suspected crohns after cdiff leads to ibs-d diagnosis

Also does any one have any remission stories? Because I'm not feeling positive right now :/

I've had Crohn's since the age of 16 and have been in remission for over 10 years. The best advice I can give is to get a solid diagnosis and find a doctor you trust. Do the colonoscopy, figure out what's going on and come up with a treatment plan. For an IBD, over the counter & home remedies will never be enough. I was on one medicine to control my initial flare, then a maintenance medicine (had an adverse reaction), then tried another maintenance med & dietary restrictions. No flares since 2003! I would recommend tracking what you're eating/drinking and how you react to it. I know someone with Crohn's who can't handle any type of mushroom or asparagus but I've never had an issue with those.

Following. I’ve had issue with diarrhea in the past. But after having my gallbladder out in July that’s all I’ve had. I suspect IBS-D as well. And it’s interfering with teaching as I can’t leave the room of kids alone. And when my baby naps on me it sucks having to get up and wake her because of 💩. Imodium isn’t cutting it anymore 😭
