What do you consider a big baby?

9lbs or more I would consider on the bigger side. But that being said both of my brothers were 10lbs and born vaginally with no issues so it doesnt worry me

I always thought 9 and up. My son was 7 something, nearly 8 and I thought he was teeny tiny lol... but these have me wondering, what is the average baby size? What’s small?

My girl was born at 8lbs 8oz. She seemed pretty full compared to other babies.

8 lbs was the biggest I wanted to come out of me. My son was 6lbs 14oz and my daughter was 6lbs 5oz. You can imagine my relief. My son didn’t cause me any issues, but I had to have an episiotomy with my daughter.

I would say over 8 1/2 - 9 pounds is pretty big...I know there are lots of babies close to and above 12 pounds, but my son was 9 pounds and OMG I could not imagine any bigger 😱  I’m due in a few weeks with our second and a seriously hope they’re not quite so big lol
