How do you manage being a sahm? Cooking, clean, self care, etc.
How do you manage cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, etc.
I’m a sahm of one 14 month old and I feel most of the time I struggle with getting everything done. I literally have ocd and can’t sleep and get very angry if the house is mess 😂 I’m talking one thing that’s not supposed to be there sets me off. So because of this I hardly get sleep and I’m exhausted.
When it’s time for bed I can’t sleep, which is another reason I’m exhausted. I feel like I’m constantly cooking and cleaning so I can’t spend as much time as I would like with my son or for myself. I don’t know how to wind down. I feel like I stress so much and put way too much pressure on myself. I’m always trying to make these luxurious meals for us, I’m always trying to make extra for my son (homemade healthy muffins, healthier meals, etc.) and I’m always trying to find ways to teach my son (sensory play, Montessori activities, etc.) so because of this I almost get sick...I can’t explain it.
But I desperately want another baby as I want my kids close in age.
So I’m just wondering how everyone manages it? Do you have a specific routine that works for you? What type of meals do you cook? What’s a typical day look like for you? How do you wind down at night time? Around what time do you go to bed? Anything else you can tell me would help!
