So my SO just became a drill sergeant and is stationed in South Carolina while I am about 6 hours away in another state. When he first began it was extremely long hours of course but he still had time to talk. Recently we have not been talking too much because he says he has been sick ( just got flu shot now has flu symptoms) and it’s the recruits last week, they graduate on Thursday so he’s just been really tired and busy. He usually will at least text me good morning but now a day could go by and he won’t text me at all but will be on social media briefly. I really do understand he is busy and I want to support him however I can I just am super worried about him and the lack of communication is really hard. I also just found out I was pregnant and am just super worried about what to do. Like would he even have time for the baby. Idk. I’m currently finishing up medical school and I’m just in need of advice. If anyone has any knowledge of what drill sergeant schedules are like or anything to help me to feel better that would be great. Anything helps

Update: he’s been cheating. Lol

Further update: Found out in a few ways, first found hair that was not mine in the bed and shower, then a girl popped up at 2 am, then I was sent DM’s on twitter by girls. So yeah. I’m doing a lot better now, we are done and It feels good.

Once I put everything together he threatened to have me beat up and accused me of cheating haha. Have not seen him since December !
