Help! I’m 6weeks today and went to see my midwife for the first time. She did a Pap smear as I’ve never done one. She said my cervix was very fragile and there was blood. Now I’m paranoid if this is blood from the pap or a miscarriage???

Blood vessels in the cervix thin out when you’re pregnant, and just like your midwife said they’re fragile! This is most likely just from popped blood vessels! I wouldn’t worry!

I bled after having mine done at 9 weeks. I didn’t think much of it until I passed a blood clot the size of an orange. That was scary. All is well now. I’m almost 35 weeks. Good luck!

I bled after my pap scream when I wasn’t pregnant. Then when I was pregnant they checked my parts and did the basic swabbing and testing and I still bled. My doctor told me if you fill up a pad within a few hours or start clotting then you should be concerned. But you can call your doctor in the morning if you’re still bleeding and anxious about it!
