This girl I like

So I’m pan and my mom has known that for almost a year now but she’s always kinda brushed it off. I had a boyfriend for a year and 2 months and when that ended she said kinda jokingly “just don’t become a lesbian” I’m not sure how I should tell her about this girl that I’m really into and she likes me too but she said she’s not quite ready for a relationship. If you guys had any ideas for what I should say to her about this girl please let me know.
