Did you request extra ultrasounds? I had a 6 week and have a 13/14 week scheduled. I'm 8 weeks now and I asked if I could have another one in between. I thought I would have to convince him but he said sure it's up to you. Yay get to see my babies soon!

I’m high risk so I get extra ultrasounds anyways.
I had one at 6 weeks 5 days (dating scan), then I ended up in the ER at 9 weeks due to a cyst in my right ovary, so I had an ultrasound there. I had my first trimester genetic testing at 12 weeks, so we had an ultrasound then, and my next one will be my anatomy scan at 18/19 weeks (December 23rd).
I’m 14 weeks today. Once I hit 28 weeks I will get weekly growth scans to check on baby!

Look up private ultrasound places. There is one near me called My First Peekaboo that I bought a package from because my doctor wouldn’t see me until I was 12 weeks.

I wish. We only get 2 in the UK (unless you're high risk) at 12 weeks and 20 weeks. Any others you have to go private 😭😭😭

I had my 1st in Australia too — ultrasounds are super cheap and you get reimbursed from Medicare.
Totally do it! You’ll only be out of pocket less than $100 with Medicare. 
Note: my daughter was born in 2017 in Melbourne. Ultrasounds cost around $160 but we got about 60% back from Medicare (National healthcare system). Definitely different than insurance in the States (where I’m originally from).

Could have gone for private scans but I would rather save that money and spend it elsewhere so I bought a Doppler instead.
