Would you be pissed if your boyfriend hardly ever took the trash from inside outside?

I feel like I’m constantly nagging my boyfriend to do it!!! It’s so frustrating. I end up doing it most of the time. But I literally do everything else so it pisses me off...like you have ONE JOB. 
Whenever I ask him he says “yeah I’ll do later” and never does! So I got pissed off today and told him how I felt and he’s like “I’m leaving I can’t be here” ok bye 👋🏻 I know I’m not wrong. We end up getting fruit flies CONSTANTLY because of it; then it’s up to ME to figure out how to get rid of them, and then they’re back again.
I’m sorry I’m not a pig. I don’t like living with fruit flies and the smell of garbage. Especially we have a one year old in the house.

Ask him if there is a different job he would rather pitch in to do. 
I do expect my husband to take out the trash but only because he parks his work vehicle right beside the outside cans and so he is literally right there 5 times a week.

I have the same issue with my so, he will keep putting things in the full bin so the lid props open. Then I have to deal with the smell and the dog pulling things out!
He claimed the garage for his toy car but I told him if he wasn’t going to take the garbage out I was moving the bins into the garage close to the door so I don’t have to worry about slipping on the ice when I take them out. He was not happy but oh well. 
Oh and to get rid of fruit flies put apple cider vinegar and a little dish soap into a small container and leave it out overnight or for a few days. They go to drink the vinegar but the soap makes it so they can’t fly away and they die

My husband usually does it, but if he forgets I just take care of it because it’s not a big deal. Better to spend 2 minutes taking it out and putting a new bag in than dealing with a full trash.

Literally I’m going through the exact thing with my husband, we live in an apartment so I can’t just leave my toddler inside to go take the trash out and it’s almost impossible to get the dumpster open with a little boy in your arms. I make it so easy for him, I put it right by the door so he can grab it on the way to work but he always “forgets” even when I remind him that morning. I do everything else when it comes to cleaning and he sits there playing video games while trash just sits by the door!

I take out the trash the majority of the time.  My husband knows it's full but I've come to realize he just doesn't think to take it out.  Honestly it takes me a few minutes.  Most of the time he will take the trash to the curb.  If he forgets I just do it, not a big deal.

I mean, if the trash is that bad to where bugs are coming then you should probably just take it out if you see it like that. It’s not solely his job. But it also isn’t solely yours. It’s a team effort. However, if you see it and you’re home and it’s smelly and collecting flies and overflowing, just take it out. Don’t wait around for him. It isn’t worth the argument.
With that said, I think you need to consider all the other things he does around the house and for the family (if you have kids yet...?). You can either choose to get caught up in him not taking out the trash all the time, or you can focus on the things he DOES do. I would sit down and think about it, maybe even make a list. Did he do the dishes yesterday or last weekend? Does he work and provide money for the family? Does he help throw in a load of laundry or make the bed? Did he stop by the grocery store or pick up dinner? Anything else?
If he literally does nothing at all, and sits around all day and complains when you ask him to do a simple task to help you out, then that’s another problem. If you truly are doing every single thing and he doesn’t do anything at all, then you need to have an adult sit down conversation and discuss how it needs to be an equal effort. Sometimes it also depends on HOW you ask him or address the situation. If my husband were to say “ugh! Can you like take out the trash?! Just once! It stinks! Look at all these dang flies! Ugh.” i would look at him and say “you have two hands and two feet, do it yourself.” But if he said “hey baby, I’m so exhausted...” or “hey baby, I’m throwing in a load of laundry right now. Can you help me and just take out the trash real quick? I’d really appreciate it.” The entire tone and attitude changes. If he complains even if a loving tone and appreciative tone is used, then you need to have an entirely different conversation with him about what he considers is an appropriate effort within a relationship and what his expectations are.

I'd just take it out and make him do dishes or cook dinner or clean the bathroom. Ask him to do some things he will actually be okay doing. Idk why bringing trash outside is so damn hard lol he sound lazy

My SO will get the hint if i put it by the front door. Mine won't get mad though. Or I will put up sticky notes.
