CAT OWNERS!! Advice please!!

Hello! I’m freaking out right now. I adopted a kitten over a year ago. She’s been in my home around my kids and family since she was 12 weeks old. She’s an indoor cat. We all take turns feeding her, my kids clean the litter box, etc. She’s been an extremely calm and friendly cat. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and the closer to due date, the more she’s been attached to me. She won’t leave my side. She sleeps at the foot of my bed. She follows me everywhere.

Last night, I noticed her eyes go black and she reached out to scratch my 6 year old across the chest. She hasn’t done this in a very long time!! Today, she crept around the sofa and tried to scratch my 9 year old but he jumped back in time.

Right now, I’m laying in bed. My 6 year old comes into my room and the cat hisses so hard, arches her back, eyes are solid black and she’s got these massive!!! (I’ve never seen her fangs like this) massive, fangs exposed while hissing. My daughter is antes to lean in and play, not realizing the cat is in attack mode. So I grabbed the pillow and shook it into the cats face. She ran under my bed. I told my daughter to back away and close the door. The cat is still under the bed prowling.

My daughter is moving slow and scared so she’s still inside the room and the cat jumps out. She’s ready to attack again so I throw the pillow at her and yell 😢😢😢😢

Full mom attack mode now.. I grab my cat and set her outside. I’m freaked out. I am literally scared of this cat now.

What do you think is causing this?? Me being due soon? The furniture changes, we built the bassinet and stuff.. I’m just freaking out. I love this cat but I refuse to have an aggressive cat around my kids. Especially if she’s being territorial with me. I won’t leave the cat around my newborn!!

Advice please!

Update- Stormy is back inside. She’s back on the arm rest she loves to perch on.. I’ll be calling her vet tomorrow morning!
