What week starts the 3rd trimester?

I’m 26 weeks today. I feel dumb since I can’t remember when the third trimester starts and this is my third baby 🤦🏻‍♀️

I tried google but what to expect said 28 and two other sights said 27 so I was confused

It’s all a little bit subjective because different sites/doctors will have it divided differently. But it usually only varies by about 1 week.
The reason this happens is because 40 weeks divided by 3 (trimesters) is 13.333 because there’s an extra week. If there were just 39 weeks in pregnancy it would be easy because it’d be a solid 13 weeks each. 
Each doctor/site will tack on the extra week  to the third or first trimester usually, or both, which would then shorten the second trimester overall. Ultimately it doesn’t really matter though.
