Positive opk and timing of sex

Hi everyone,

Yesterday morning I had a negative opk. During the day I noticed I was starting to get some ewcm so I tested when I got home that evening and it was positive. Then I tested again this morning and I had more ewcm (brown blood tinged). I had cramps all day as well. Tonight I came home from work and had sex with my husband (pretty much the minute I walked in the door lol).

Everything I’ve read says to have sex the days leading up to ovulation. I am pretty sure I ovulated earlier today. Could I still get pregnant or are the chances slim if I had intercourse on the actual day of ovulation?
