Kids cooking class using science

I am sooo excited to teach an after school program at the school I work at!

When I was first offered the extra position I was very nervous because it was called chemistry(not a fan of science, nor would I feel comfortable teaching it)... but then I saw "chemistry in cookies!!!"

Its actually really cute!!!!!! Its once a week!!!!

1st week we make yummy good cookies (record observations)

2nd week we change one measurement in the original recipe (could be good, could be bad)

3rd week we change temp

4th week we change time

5th week CREATE YOUR OWN COOKIE!!!

It will be 3rd 4th and 5th grade!!! After 5 weeks I will get a new group of kids!!!!!
