What do you think about this as a gift for a 38 year old man?

My boyfriends birthday is next month and he’s gonna be 38. I’m in my 20s so I’m not too sure about older men and their fashion. I know he likes watches but I’m not sure about bedazzled ones. I was thinking of getting him this one but I need opinions from you guys. Is it too immature looking? Or girly? I want to find him a pretty large gold watch with some diamond accents somewhere since he doesn’t have that. What do you ladies think or recommend? My limit is $500

I would go for the plain gold. The diamond one is too much imo. Maybe he'd like a hybrid smartwatch. I got my dad one of those and he loves it. It was from Fossibut I believe Michael Kors has them as well.

38 year olds don’t wear fake bling. At least none of the ones I know do. I would just stick to something more conservative but I don’t know your man’s tastes.

I think it depends on his taste and style. I would say this is a no for an almost 40 yr old unless the diamonds and gold are real. Movado has some nice diamond accent watches.

Michael Kors has great watches for men and they’re within your price range. I just bought my husband one. Maybe get something with a little less diamonds???

I’d say that unless he specifically wants that watch, I’d go with something a little more neutral. I absolutely love Nixon watches! They look slick and they won’t cost an arm and a leg. My husband wears his all the time!

it's a bit too distracting with so many diamonds. due to your limit i'd look at a dupe of a rolex if they make them. my bf's mom has a rolex with diamond accents and it looks pretty cool bc there are diamonds for the dial. it's pretty much the only watch she wears. you might be able to find something similar on aliexpress or amazon etc. my bf's sister buys a lot of knockoffs from those sites.
