How early for gender ultrasound?

Question

I have a scan booked for Thursday when I will be 16 weeks. 
How accurate will they be with telling gender? Im nervous they get it wrong. We are gonna ask them to put it in an envelope for us to open on Christmas day. Imagine it was wrong?
How early can they be confident about gender??

I got mine at 13 weeks at a private ultrasound place so you should be fine😊

I had mine last week at 15 weeks. They could tell right away but I don’t know the gender yet cause we are waiting  to reveal it at thanksgiving!

16 weeks today , and there’s no denying that it’s a boy, all different views pointed to an obvious boy nub.  Lol I think you’ll be fine

I’m due to find out next week 15weeks+3days but from what I’ve seen and heard its pretty accurate x

I just got mine at 13 weeks as well and it was pretty obvious so at 16 weeks you should be fine
