Just over 5 months pp, breastfeeding only, no period yet. I'm the only person I know exclusively breastfeeding so I don't know when to expect my period back. Trying to conceive too, so hoping it comes back soon! Any experiences??

I havent gotten my period yet and decided to take a test just because. And to my shock I got a super faint positive.

No period yet! But i also have PCOS so I wasn’t regular before pregnancy

I got my period but my gyn told me I will get it once she puts me in contraceptives. Got this injection and it is supposed to bring your period before it stops it for 12 weeks. I feel bad that I would never know how my body would have reacted on its own or when it would have gotten back to periods but on the other had, after my csection, I can't risk getting pregnant under 6 months pp. Was told to wait 18 month shortest. So yeah. Period came due to the injection. But am exclusively breast feeding.

Some don’t get their period back until ur done breastfeeding - with my first, I didn’t get my period until I stopped breastfeeding at 14 months. My period came back within 6 weeks of stopping BF.

I’ve had three period already. I feel so cheated lol BUT my son is a great sleeper and I was told that’s why - he often goes 12 hours without feeding at night. After a week or so of it, my period came shortly after.

I got my period back at 8w pp 😭 had regular periods ever since, I've exclusively breastfed until just the other day when we started solids

I got mine 3 months pp :( and everytime I get it my supply drops so much.
