First time in an ambulance

Woke up with the most intense back pain of my life. Coming every 2 minutes and lasting about 3 minutes. I couldn’t talk, walk and I was struggling to catch my breathe. I tried getting to the car but couldn’t. So my MIL called an ambulance and off to L&D I went. Thankfully the contractions resolved themselves and I’m only 1 cm dilated. They do believe they were real contractions and I need to watch for preterm labor signs. Baby boy is great and now I’m on bed rest! Hoping the next time we go is in January for the real deal!
