Onset of preeclampsia?

37 week check up today, been having insane amounts of swelling up to my knees and in my hands. My blood pressure was 134/86 and they checked it again a bit later and it was 132/84. I’ve been resting all day and feeling kinda worse - no appetite and weak. They are having me go back on Friday to check my BP again. Should I expect to be induced if it’s any higher than 140/80?

My blood pressure was normal throughout my whole pregnancy and then at my 36 week checkup it was high and it turns out I had HELLP syndrome and got induced that night. Definitely keep an eye on it and I agree to go to the ER if you’re feeling bad at all.

My blood pressure was getting worse throughout my entire pregnancy, and they decided to induce me at 157/97. Not sure if they will induce you unless your blood pressure is consistently getting higher, but be prepared to be put on magnesium if they do
If you're 37 weeks and they think you're high risk or they even suspect preeclampsia then yes they will probably just go ahead and induce you.
