What are some early signs of labor?

What are some signs of labor I should watch out for? I’m having so much anxiety lately about it I’m 37 weeks 2 days. I’ve had looser bowel movements the past few days and I just feel way more emotional than normal. My lower back is killing me and I’ve been having frequent Braxton Hicks for like the past week. Baby was at -2 station on Monday (11/25) but I wasn’t dilated yet

I honestly didn’t have any “warning” signs. There was nothing that told me that I would be in labor soon. I just woke up with what I thought were GI cramps, but I quickly figured out they were contractions when I started timing them. That was at 6am. I was admitted to the hospital around 1pm, and my son was born at 1am. I saw my doc for my 40w appt that morning, and even with the contractions, I was still only 1cm dilated, so all of that means nothing. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
Try not to be anxious, though. Your body will let you know something is happening, especially with your first.

I had Braxton Hicks for a month before my baby was born. Looser stools can be normal last month as well. I ended up losing my mucus plug and then had cramping every 10-13 minutes. Once they are consistent and close together you will know. I thought I was going to give birth early lol I had severe back pain last two months due to baby being posterior. Don’t have anxiety enjoy your last few weeks before baby arrives. Pamper yourself it’s nice :)

All those things are common in the last trimester. Try to relax and enjoy the rest of ur pregnancy. If ur in true labor u will have timetable contractions or ur water will break. It’s not common for a woman to be in actually labor and not know it.
