We did my labs at 9 weeks and the RPR test case back reactive. It's a test that screens for syphilis antibodies, I believe. It looks like they did 2 different types and one was reactive but the other wasn't? Anyway, at my appointment today I asked my midwife about it as I was looking at my lab results before the appointment. She told me it was a screening required by the state (Virginia) and that she was actually contacted by the department who received the blood about out. The woman told her she's seen a lot of false positives lately and they'll redo my labs with my GD screening. She doesn't seem worried and I know I don't have any STIs, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and it was better the second time.
