piercing help!!

I literally got my second lobe piercings TWO YEARS AGO and they won’t fully heal. I’ve tried all the metals, I’m on gold plated right now, which worked for a little, but they’re super infected again. I took my earrings out to clean them and I squeezed my ear lobe (i know i shouldn’t have) and it literally popped pus out onto my mirror like a giant fucking pimple. I don’t know what else to try. Should I see a doctor?? I went for my infected cartilage once and got antibiotics for that. Or should I just take the earrings out and let the piercings close?? I really want to keep them but I don’t think it’s worth letting infection sit in my body. Any advice??
