I had my membranes sweep with my second pregnancy and I remember it hurt so bad.

Now I’m 38 weeks with my 4th child and I’m thinking something was different at this weekly exam. No changes in the past week except lost 4lbs. Still at 1cm and no effacement. Normally cervix exams don’t hurt at all. But today’s hurt a lot made me jump! I think my doctor stripped membranes. Guess I’ll wait and see. I don’t care if she did, maybe it’ll get things going? Who knows. I’ve dropped but he’s not engaged yet either. He’s sunny side up too so that makes for very painful contractions.
