Pap test?

Anybody have a pap while pregnant? My doctor wants me to get one at my next appointment on the 18th. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it.... I mean, I'm due for one so I'm considering it. But she told me if I'm not comfortable with it she will wait until after baby comes... What do you think?

I got it done while pregnant with my son. And During my first appointment with this pregnancy. It’s fine. They wouldn’t do it if they didn’t think it was safe.

I'm not a fan. There is a potential risk of them gets germs up there, which makes for a potential infection risk. It's  not necessary. If they don't  stick anything up there 0 risk of random Dr office germs getting near my baby. 
Just be informed  of ALL the risks before doing it just because its "normal". Weigh the Pros and Cons

I got mines done at my first visit. It is okay to do it that.

I had one at the 2nd appt with this pregnancy. But I'm considered high risk and he wanted to be on the safe side.

I did and it was fine. Had a little spotting that same day and then none after. Didn’t even feel her doing the pap actually which was nice

I got one at my 12 week appointment. It can cause bleeding, but that’s unrelated to the pregnancy. It would just be because your cervix is irritated. Nothing is getting anywhere near your baby. The cervix is closed and blocked by the mucus plug. :)
