I’m 39+5 with baby #2. I had baby #1 at 41+5 after having to be medically induced for post dates and then developed preeclampsia in labor.

Because of this my midwives are trying everything we can to get things going earlier this time.

Had a stretch and sweep at 38+4 and again yesterday at 39+4, I’m now dilated to 3, 50% effaced, baby station -1 and anterior cervix.

Acupuncture didn’t work to put me into labour last pregnancy but I went and tried again this afternoon, really hoping it works this time since at least I’m dilated already maybe it’s the little nudge that I need? With my last pregnancy I wasn’t dilated at all when I got acupuncture and I didn’t reach 3cm until 12 hours into my labor.

Any success stories of it working?
