Zofran during PREGNANCY!??

Hi all! 
Has anyone experienced any birth defects due to taking Zofran while pregnant? I’m currently taking Zofran and I am in my first trimester. My DR prescribed. Though, through research I have seen that it may cause birth defects. /: I’ve only taken 4 in the last 4 days

Zofran is absolutely safe during pregnancy hence every doctor across the world will prescribe it at some point for bad nausea . It does not cause birth defects. Don’t google undocumented opinions. Look at scientific proven facts. Zofran has not been linked to ANY birth defects ever.

The problem with all drugs is they will never be able to prove if it’s the drug that caused the birth defect or if that baby would have had a birth defect no matter what. The only time is when most or all babies were born with the same birth defect. Anyway, so the evidence is inconclusive for zofran, that is why CDC says it’s safe and FDA says no

Trust your doctor and don't believe everything you read on Google. My personal experience..I've taken it with all 3 of my babies and they're all perfectly healthy.

I was on high doses of Zofran with two of my kids bc I had (HG)... I was on it from 5 weeks through my whole pregnancies.. my first son was born with an extra thumb .. which we corrected when he was two.. my second son was born with a hole in his heart..I don’t know if it is all a coincidence or not .. I delivered both baby’s full term.. good luck!!

This is why you shouldnt try to be your own doctor through google. 
Zofran is perfectly fine during pregnancy. The side effects they list are often listed because it is something that happened to someone once even though there were probably other factors involved.

My doctor wouldnt actually prescribe it to me, she said she was comfortable with one dose but not with me taking it after that. I was prescribed something else for the rest of my vomiting stage
