What happens if you suspect a yeast infection after you given birth and have stitches?

I give been birth very recently. I have my period now but I don’t see any kind of discharge that looks like cottage. But I do feel a itch in my inner lips of my vagina. Not a bad one but now it’s a little itchy here and there. I have stitches. A first degree tear. So I have to wait to get check until 6 weeks later or will they see me sooner? I also may suspect a uti. But how can I get checked with bleeding and a tear that’s not healed yet? I haven’t been consistent with water ever since I’ve given birth. So i’am scared with taking antibiotics for strep B and before that for skin infection... I may have a yeast infection now
