So from the very beginning my husband and I agreed that if it was a girl then her name would be Alana (A-lon-a) and well were having a girl! And today (Thanksgiving) my family on my moms side asked what her name will be I told them Alana and everyone in the room grew silent. Then had the audacity to say well you have plenty of time to change your mind.. like excuse me? This is our baby not yours and we love her name. It’s unique and easy to say. I just needed to rant. I’m not for any reason going to change her name but I just had to talk about it. It hurts my feelings they’d say that.
