I’m 32 and for the last six months this guy I’ve been dating just told me he’s not ready for a serious relationship. We’ve known each other for almost 10 years. He told me he cares about me and my feelings, that he likes spending time with me, but that he knows he can’t give me what I’m looking for.

When we go out he tells me he misses me, that he loves me and we have sex like a normal couple.

I feel heartbroken. I really wasn’t expecting this, specially not this time of year. I don’t know if I should just give it time or make the definitive move and just move on.
