25 weeks and uncontrollably throwing up 😒

This is my second pregnancy and my second son. This pregnancy has been a dream compared to my last one 4 years ago.

Everything was great... til 2:30 this morning. I woke up choking on stomach acid and then spent the next 45+ mins uncontrollably throwing up and choking not being able to catch my breath between coughing, choking and throwing up.

This is what happened in my first pregnancy and I had to sleep sitting up from weeks 14-37 when I delivered my son.

I am currently in another state (going home tomorrow) but I am terrified to lay down and sleep for fear that it will happen again. I have to be at the airport at 4AM tomorrow and don’t want to be throwing up all night and then have to travel with my 3 year old.

I am 25 weeks today and have 14 left to go. Does this happen to anybody else? I was taking Zantac and it was completely under control but they have pulled it off the shelf and my body isn’t responding to any other heartburn medicine.

I will be calling my dr first thing Monday morning but in the meantime idk what to do. Send help 😫🆘😖
