Thoughts on drinking a cup of wine while pregnant?

I’m in Australia and the advice given here is no amount of alcohol is safe during pregnancy. 
There have not been enough studies done to indicate a “safe” amount so in my opinion it’s best to just stay clear of it altogether.

Ask a French woman, she’ll say yes of course. Ask an American woman and she’ll say not one drop. It’s up to you really.

One cup is believed to be fine no? I think here in the U.K. at least one cup is ‘okay’ I guess it’s really just up to you / how you feel about it.

I had about 1/4 a glass last week. I’m sure it’s safe to have here and there.

I thinks it’s all personal preference. I prefer no alcohol myself, but I had cousins that were ok with a sip or one glass.
