Cervical check bleeding

So I was checked on Wednesday and after had a decent amount of bright red bleeding that slowed down within a couple hours and didn’t notice any increase in cramping. Yesterday on and off I had some spotting but nothing major and it was brown like it was trying to stop and that stopped by bedtime last night. Today I decided not to wear a panty liner because it had been really annoying and just realized I have now ruined my underwear because I had a lot of brownish bleeding and cramps have picked up (normally they feel like my period is coming just sort of light but now they are more intense like after I have started my period just to give a reference). I know some spotting can be expected but didn’t expect for it and cramps to increase a few days later. Does anyone have an idea how long spotting usually lasts after a check?
