When did your RE have you start progesterone in a fresh IVF cycle?

I had one successful cycle back in 2017 and am convinced they had me start progesterone right after the retrieval. I did 3 more unsuccessful cycles with one of them looking so promising because the blasts were perfect. All of those cycles my RE had me start the day of embryo transfer. I am wondering if this is why they did not work out. I am 42 and will do one last cycle and just want the best shot at it. 💕

Thank you, ladies. I knew I was right. This is so upsetting - but I will follow the old instructions - meaning day of retrieval - next cycle.

It was either day of retrieval or the next day

I started the day after my retrieval and was recently told I will probably be able stop after my 6week pregnant confirmation ultrasound.
