Where does baby sleep?

Which part does baby sleep in while I’m sleeping. I’m just confused cause the thing in PICTURE 1 is technically called a napper/bassinet and does have mesh sides but I’m just not sure which part she should sleep in at night time while I’m sleeping. And if she is supposed to sleep in the part that’s like PICTURE 2 can the changing pad stay on there while she’s in it and still small?

Either one should be fine not everyone has the space or money for a bassinet

Believe it or not the manual to that will inform you to NOT have the baby sleep in either of those as they are not safe for sleep. In fact, in many cases the manual will inform you that the bottom portion of the pack and play is also NOT safe for naps and night sleep.
The only safe space for a baby is in a crib. With a tightly fitted sheet. With no bumpers, no toys, I blankets and no pillows .

As long as it's flat and has mesh sides either one is fine. My son is still sleeping in his pack n play (all the way lowered)  at 19 months. Just don't have space and money for a crib.

I would take the changing pad off in the rare event it breaks and falls on her..

So me personally I have a similar one and I only did that bassinet part for short naps and the 2nd picture I did at night. Either works but if manual okays go with what you can get the baby to sleep in. My daughter hated long sleeps in the bassinet.

Our newborn slept in the bassinet (picture 1 circled) for the first several weeks. She was not comfortable in her bassinet.  She was pretty small and we think it was to big and made her uncomfortable.  But then, she suddenly didnt like that and we moved her to the bassinet. They are pretty finicky lol. Now during the day we will lay her in the pack and play portion for naps and took the bassinet portion off and into storage. I continue the changing table portion (not circled in picture 1). I find it too small and narrow so I just use it to store things like her blanket or burp clothes.
