Do you give homeless folks money?

My SO is completely against giving homeless money as where I always feel terrible and say honey let’s just give him/her $1 and he refuses.

The ones kill me are the ones that have their kids with them with a sign saying “Need Help with rent, family hungry”

Now he isn’t horrible because once in a blue he’ll hand one a few dollars, usually when we are walking into a store but never rolls down the window to give money to ones begging on the street.

I look at it this way like it’s someone’s mom, dad, brother, uncle or even ex military and its just sad that their conditions are the way they are.

I give them money.
