Idk how come in a relationship with your “baby daddy” instead of saying boyfriend you say baby daddy ?

I’ve noticed quite a few people do this it doesn’t bother me. I just wanted opinions lol, if I called my boyfriend my baby daddy instead of boyfriend / his name he’d be a little off out as in “ aren’t we in a relationship lol”

Just felt weird once I became a parent a lot of females say this , and than I think I’m reading about two people not together but with child lol than realize they are together just instead of saying boyfriend or SO whatever it’s baby daddy lol?
