HELP! Supplements.
Long story short, I’m in a rut with my milk production for my 8 week old little man.
I’ve order:
Mothers milk tea
Flaxseeds & flaxseed oil
Brewers yeast
Fenugreek
Chia seeds
And have been eating boatloads of oats.
If you consume, how are you preparing the flaxseeds, yeast, and fenugreek?
And what quantities
And I’m already drinking litters upon litres of water a day. I’m so tired of water.
(I’m drinking at least 2 litres per pump session - 1 during, 1 after)
Any other tips?
I’ve got formula on hand, just in case.
I was producing at least 1000ml of milk a day, but little man is drinking 800ml - 900ml per day via bottle (he’s eating a TON, there’s a reason he’s always been gaining weight like he’s preparing to be a sumo - he never dropped from birth... you’d think I’d get a fat roll at least 😜). Last week I had a few bad days and couldn’t pump as much as I normally do, thanks to work (downside of running your own business, nobody can cover for you when you need 30 minutes to pump every 2 hours 😑). Anyways, these last few days, I’ve been lucky if I can pump 800ml, which has resulted in us tapping into some of my stash. I’ve been pumping every 2 - 3 hours, power pumping twice a day, and nursing as much as possible (but little man is sleeping through the night! So it’s just the pump at night...).
