I also agree I would get it fixed ASAP. My daughter had a lip tie and we fixed it the day after coming home from the hospital last week. We took her to the dentist and they did it. Literally night and day difference breast feeding!!! Zero pain and my milk is coming in way better cause her latch is correct.

Ugh I had my son’s fixed at six days old now at four weeks still exclusively pumping 😢 tried nursing again last night and it’s like my nipples are raw and on fire. It’s awful! What’s wrong? I don’t need nipple shields I definitely don’t have flat nipples.

Tongue tie and high pallet 😩 first 2 and half days of her life were miserable tryin to feed literally killed my nips they were so messed up. But thank god I requested a lactation visit and they fixed it right there. We are still dealing with high pallet issues so we are incorporating bottles to help because she is having a weight gain issue although I am producing enough so although her latch isn’t hurting she might not be getting enough so now I am pumping. I will say though having a nipple shield helped tremendously for my nips to recover for a week after they fixed her tongue tie.

Agreed with above. Get it fixed. Do the stretches. See a chiropractor is CST for body work. In the mean time a nipple shield might be a saving grace. It was with my first.
