Serious nursing aversion 😖

I’ve been trying to wean my son who is 28months since before he turned 2. I could list everything I’ve tried but the list would be too long. I’m currently doing the countdown method but even then, every time he latches I get really angry and touched out. I tell him “no more” and pull him off.

He’s a big tantrum thrower and will scream bloody murder and hit me every time I deny him boobs. I’ve told him “later” or “In a minute” and try to distract him but he is relentless and won’t stop until I let him nurse.

I need advice on possibly just stopping cold turkey. Cutting feeds and distracting isn’t helping. He’s literally nursing like every hour or more and it’s driving me crazy
