Question

My son will be 5 months old on the 9th and hh had discovered that he likes to roll in his sleep and wake himself up. Last night I was desperate and put a stiff couch pillow by his legs and he slept all night!! He rolled over but slept on his tummy and was no. Where ear the pillow. I'm a super safe mom and follow all the mommy rules and know this isnt one but its not by his face. Is this ok or no?

I know for my son that he doesn’t just roll side to side. I can put my son down in one corner and I have wake up and he’s in a completely other place. Just brocade the pillow isn’t in your sons face now doesn’t mean it won’t be tomorrow.

My daughter is 3.5 months old and only sleeps on her back still but can wiggle herself in full circles from one end of the crib to the other. I wouldn't trust the pillow in there.

It's a phase. It's annoying as fuck and it lasts too long imo, but it's just a phase. He's learning to move around. 
It took some times before my daughter learned to sleep on her stomach, so she would wake up as well. I'd just roll her back and she would sleep again (Most times at least).
But then she learned that sleeping on the stomach was great and she stopped waking up at night.

Is this. Ok??
