How to I survive alone?

I’m a 23 year old with a 3 year old. I’ve lived with her dad since I moved out and he’s paid for almost everything the entire time. I don’t know what it is to pay rent; not that I’m spoiled so please don’t judge me. He pays for it because I simply don’t make enough to pay it myself. We are at a point where we are separating and I need to move out since obviously I can’t afford this house. I will be looking for an apartment other wise I will have to live with my family in a room with my grandma and my daughter. I live in LA and rent is extremely expensive here. I was looking at apartments and the lowest ones are studios. I get paid roughly around 700 biweekly, it isn’t anything at all. But my question was, is there anything I can do to get help? Or something, anything? I don’t know about a second job because I hardly see my daughter now. Her dad is definitely going to want to fight me for her so I need to be prepared. What can I do? I’m scared. And also, no he won’t help me with anything. We don’t get along at all, he’s emotionally and verbally abusive.

I’m probably not gonna waste my time on child support. He doesn’t pay any of the other two he has.
