Not sitting up yet?

I feel like my daughter is the only one not sitting up yet. She falls forward almost immediately when I sit her up. Will she learn on her own or should I have her practice more?

My baby is still face diving lol he’ll sit up for about 30 seconds and he’s down again. don’t worry mama. I think this app makes us all crazy and set these crazy expectations for our babies.

I believe sitting up is an 8 month skill. My daughter just recently rolled over and she’s almost 6 months (back to belly, doesn’t even do belly to back). Don’t sweat it. Just keep doing tummy time and baby will get it. If doctor isn’t concerned, you shouldn’t be!

Mine doesn’t sit up yet either.  It’s ok.  They’ll figure it out.

As long as she’s doing tummy time and building muscles she’ll get there! I wouldn’t worry at all.

My daughters nearly 6 months and still not sitting unaided, they all develop at their own pace. Nothing to be worried about yet :)

I was worried about this too and was actually going to make a post about it. My daughter can sit up for a few second before tipping over. I feel like she’d be able to sit up longer if it weren’t for the fact that she has to try to grab everything in sight. 
Tummy time has been a mess as she just rolls over almost immediately but will also roll back on her belly. We practice sitting up with a floor seat and just regularly on the bed but at that point even my hands become a (chew) toy for her 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

My baby can sit up, but was really behind on rolling over - or so I thought. I saw a million posts with "Today my baby rolled over!" but then I remembered who is going to write a post saying "Today my baby didn't roll over". Remember that people on this app don't write posts about things their babies can't do, they write posts when their babies do something... so while it feels like you're the only one, I promise you're not.
