Exclusive pumping? Someone help

Question

So I’m going to express feed breast milk
But I’m just wondering how. Like do I pump a lot and store it in the fridge? Do I pump 8-12 times a day to keep enough supply for baby? How will night feeds work? Will I have to go down to the fridge to get a feed ready or can I leave breast milk in my room or what? I’m just so lost. Please someone help. No negative comments. 
I can’t breastfeed due to personal reasons so expressing is my only way.

I think the recommendation is to pump every 2 hours during the day and 3 hours at night. There is a group on glow for exclusive pumping and you might get better answers on there, I nurse and pump so I’m not sure the best way to exclusively pump.

I would use my last pump sessions milk for the next feed. Fresh breastmilk can be out for 6-8 hours! At the end of the day I would freeze what was in the fridge.

I pump every three hours (even in the middle of the night). Typically each pump I get the 4.5 oz to feed my baby, any extra goes in the fridge. When all the bottles in the fridge at the end of the day are at the same temp I mix and bag to freeze. This is how I am building a stock pile. Typically every two days I have 15 oz which makes 3 bags. 
When I pump in the middle of the night the first bottle at 9 pm goes in the fridge because my girl gets up at 3 am and 6 am. My midnight bottle I keep out for 3 hours and that is what she gets fed.

I’ve been exclusively pumping for almost 4 months. Check out exclusivepumping.com it helped me soooo much when I first started. It is recommended to pump 8-12 times starting out. I pumped every 3 hours while my baby was a new born. You can over time start to decrease the number of times you pump per day when your supply regulates. On the days I’m off work I leave the milk out at room temp till the next feeding. Some resources say milk can stay out for 4 hours, some say 6 hours. There’s also a page on here for exclusive pumping. There are many great pages on Instagram as well if you use insta. You can do this!!

Also I would use the app Pump Log. You get 50 free logs then purchase unlimited. It is nice to see what you have in the freezer and trends in your milk production. I can see based on numbers days I need way more water or days I might need to pull from the stash. If you would like to private message me with any questions feel free!!
