When did you start buying baby stuff?!

Just curious when people started nesting/prepping!! I’m 22 weeks and am in full on nesting mode with baby #2 and wanted to see how others did it!!

all 3. i bought a few things when i was barely even pregnant. started to get a little more after finding out the gender, and started buying everything including all the big items from october until the end of november. due the 22nd.

We started buying baby stuff before I got pregnant. Mostly decor things because we had a very clear plan for our nursery. I had people tell me it was bad luck or a bad idea but it was the only fun part of planning for a baby after trying for over a year. My husband kept saying one way or another we would be parents and so there was no doubt that we would use the stuff one way or another. We bought the nursery furniture in the first trimester. We held off on clothes and anything that we could reasonably receive from our shower but I was VERY tired during my pregnancy so I asked my mom to throw my shower by 7 months so we'd have time to get what we needed (she had already brought up throwing the shower, I didn't assume). By the way, the laundry you have to do before a baby comes seemed like the most work to me. Just a heads up. 😊

Not buying any baby stuff really. Im getting my aunt's car seat and stroller (her baby will have just grown out of them when i give birth), her crib, and all her clothes she cant wear. My parents are already looking into buying the other stuff like diapers etc bc they are that obsessed. I had a loss in May so they are ecstatic that the condom didn't work after my d&c😂. If i had to get alot of stuff though, id prob wait until after my baby shower in case someone gets you something you planned on buying.

Honestly I wish I would’ve waited until after my baby shower to buy things because I got so much stuff but I also had a rare case where I had three baby showers thrown for me
