Do some women find breast feeding gross?

Me and my husband are TTC. Last month was our first month actually trying - like checking CM, doing ovulation tests, and having sex every other day during the window.

My husband was curious about breast feeding so he watched a bunch of videos. I asked him if he was breast fed and he said no. Then he was like “I wonder why she didn’t breast feed me”. My mom didn’t breast feed me but that’s because I’m a twin and she did pump and we drank the breast milk that way.

Anyways, jump forward a couple of days and his mom called so I told him to ask her why she didn’t breast feed him. And she was GROSSED OUT that he asked her that. His mom is pretty open about everything - like her sex life and all - so I don’t think it was that she didn’t want to talk about it. She literally said “Ew no I didn’t”. And when my husband asked her why she didn’t respond immediately and then said “well you know because I was in high school when I had you”. Sounds like an excuse honestly. My mom was a sophomore in high school when she had me and my sister, it doesn’t seem like a valid reason to not breast feed. And she said “ew” when he brought it up. I was just wondering if there are some women who find breast feeding gross? It just really shocked me!!
