Softcup method questions

My husband and I are ttc and he has issues ejaculating during intercourse. He enjoys it but rarely finishes. This makes it especially difficult when there is a small window and I also have PCOS diagnosis. There is just so much pressure. He says he is able to make it happen when he masturbates. I’ve read about the softcup method mixed with preseed, and inserting it filled with ejaculate. Is this even worth trying? I’m desperate to know if this has actually worked for anyone.
