Took a step forward

Currently a state employee with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice (has nothing to do with current job but has always been my dream niche). I'm unhappy and in a hostile work environment but as a single income I'm kind of stuck.

I've been thinking of going back to school for a while, wanting to work in a prison but in a different way..nursing.

So last night I enrolled in the CNA program to start that path. I start classes in January and it's a roughly 2 month class ending with certification which I can then use to apply to nursing schools. Itll be a 2 day per week night class which I'll go to after work.

I'm so excited to begin this journey ♡
