Help with a decision

Would you accept housing help ( rapid rehousing ) with out a job yet? So here is how the program works the find you an apartment and they pay the down payment and the first three months you of rent for you. By the 4th month you need to have a job to pay the whole rent. I'm 21 I also have the opportunity to live with my mother and sister for a little until I leave and join the military?
