In Law Issues... Advice Please? Thank you!

Am

On my husband's side of the family. It's a mess. Where do i begin. But it all started when his grandmother passed away in 2008. His family has been bitter and hostile towards one another. Not to mention his father and uncle can't even be in the same vicinity without wanting to kill each other. It's sad, it really is.

We recently moved back with my mom in FL and I haven't talked to any of his family since. I haven't sent them pictures of the kids, none of that. I don't care to either. I'm just done and over the bickering and shit talking of the rest of his family. I don't have time for it. So i just left them be.

This situation really opened my eyes. We were in Indiana with his family for a bit before we moved and I had planned a memorial dinner for his grandmother that passed. To get the whole family together. I crossed my fingers hoping to get everyone together and idek why i did. But as soon as I sent the messages out.

"So and so better not be there! If so, I'm not going!"

It's ridiculous how childish they really are and I'm done and washing my hands of them. Idc if it bothers them or gets under their skin. I'm not gonna go out of my way for any of them anymore.

I cut off my husband's family members bc none of them can seem to get along with each other. They can NEVER come together as family and I'm sick of having to make a million trips to take MY kids to go see their aunt, uncles, cousins etc. But this person doesn't talk to that person and so on. So i told them look if ya'll can't get along or come together and put your differences/hatred/anger aside for the sake of my children. Then idc, no one is allowed to see them til some changes start happening. I haven't said a word to them since and they haven't said anything to me since.

My husband and i plan on renewing our vows soon. Maybe in the next year or two. Should i invite them or no? If i do invite anyone from his family, it'd be his father. He's just a carefree guy that doesn't want problems with no one.
