Bringing boyfriend to OBGYN?

So I just scheduled my first OBGYN appointment today. My mom wanted me to schedule the appointment myself after I told her I was pregnant (I'm 19). She's a little disappointed, but said I could make my own decisions.

Anyways, after I scheduled it, I told my boyfriend immediately so that he at least knows when my appointment is and where I'll be at.

He asked me if he could come with me to the appointment (it's only 1 bus for both of us), but I wasn't sure if that's normal? Or if it's even allowed?

I dunno. I wanted to hear thoughts.

It's my first appointment, so I don't really wanna go alone...
